 PINEAPPLE JERK CHICKEN WITH VEGETABLE RICE 

jerk chicken and vegetable rice is one of my favorite dish .which i always order with i get on a dinner and which my mom also cooked when i ask her.i really love this dish.

HOW TO MAKE PINEAPPLE JERK CHICKEN WITH VEGETABLE RICE 
 directions
  1. In a large pot of boiling, salted water, cook the rice, uncovered and stirring occasionally, until tender, about 30 minutes; drain.
  2. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and jalapeno and cook until the onion is browned, 7 minutes; transfer to a bowl.
  3. Add the remaining 2 tablespoons olive oil to the same skillet and increase the heat to medium-high. Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then add to the pan and cook until browned, 5 to 7 minutes. Add the pineapple and jerk marinade and simmer until the chicken is cooked through, 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the onion mixture, black beans and cilantro; cook until the beans are heated through, about 1 minute. Season with salt and pepper and serve over the rice.

  • cups brown rice
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • onion, chopped
  • jalapeno Chile--stemmed, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1 1/2 pounds skinless, boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1/2 pineapple, cut into 3/4-inch pieces (about 3 cups)
  • 1/2 cup jerk marinade, such as Lawry's
  • 1 15 ounce can  black beans, rinsed
  • 1/2 cup chopped cilantro
this one of the the best dish to try.;if u try it ,it will be very delicious.i really enjoy this meal

Method

For the creamy celery dressing
Combine all the ingredients together in a bowl, adding little water if required, and whisk till smooth.
Pour in a serving bowl and refrigerate to chill.

How to proceed
Put all the ingredients, except the salt, separately in bowls of ice-cold water. This will make them crisp.
Drain, wrap in a muslin cloth and refrigerate till ready to use.
To serve, place the lettuce in a layer on a serving platter.

Arrange all the vegetables over it, sprinkle salt and serve with creamy celery dressing on the side.

HOW TO MAKE A DELICIOUS CHICKEN POT PIE

Ingredients

Crust

box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box

Filling

cup butter or margarine
1/3
cup chopped onion
1/3
cup all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper
1 3/4
cups Progresso™ chicken broth (from 32-oz carton)
1/2
cup milk
2 1/2
cups shredded cooked chicken or turkey
2
cups Green Giant™ Steamers™ frozen mixed vegetables, thawed


  • 1Heat oven to 425°F. Make pie crusts as directed on box for Two-Crust Pie using 9-inch glass pie pan.
  • 2In 2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until well blended. Gradually stir in broth and milk, cooking and stirring until bubbly and thickened.
  • 3Stir in chicken and mixed vegetables. Remove from heat. Spoon chicken mixture into crust-lined pan. Top with second crust; seal edge and flute. Cut slits in several places in top crust.
  • 4Bake 30 to 40 minutes or until crust is golden brown. During last 15 to 20 minutes of baking, cover crust edge with strips of foil to prevent excessive browning. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.

                         Cheese rice is one of the easiest recipe .which you can cook, and eat. Which you can use as a original side for a food dish. Which have a wholesome heartily flavor.
                   To make a this dish, you will need cooking spray,1 cup of long grain rice,1 teaspoon of olive oil,1/4 cup of diced carrot,1/4 cup of diced celery,1/4 cup of diced onions,2 cloves garlic,2 cups chicken stock,1 bay leaf,and 1 pinch of ground black pepper to give it taste.
                    You will then start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees.then prepare a 2 quart creole dish. After heat the olive oil a saucepan over medium heat.cook and stir the carrot,the celery and onion in hot oil until the onion is soft.stir the garlic into a mixwith the rest.last add the chicken stock,and bay leaf to the sauce pan and bring to boil.
